rebecca zweig is a writer & filmmaker. her first documentary feature, Jaripeo, directed with Efraín mojica, premiered at the 2026 sundance film festival and the 76th berlinale in the panorama section. her reporting, essays, and poetry have appeared in the nation, the nyt, & revista nexos, among many others. she’s a graduate of the iowa writer’s workshop, where she was a teaching-writing fellow in poetry. she lives in mexico city.
